Bike Riding!!!

 Hello Bloggers!!!

on the 6th of July 2021 Paterson Class did bike riding.

Some of us learnt how to ride a bike without training wheels before. Some of us had learnt signs and directions.

Something I found tricky was running catching the speed of the bike because the pedals were in the way and I kept getting hurt from it:(

The part I enjoyed was the whole thing because it was so fun. I enjoyed it becasuse I didn't fall but tommorow I might.

I'm feeling scared for tommorows bike riding because what if I fall. Once I did ride with out training wheels and fell.

The Wonder Project

All the seniors have been particapating in a program called the wonder project. It is basicly about rockets and Newton's laws of motion. We made some rockets and did a few test flights and then we did a real flight but this time my groups when a little high and a little far. We learnt how to make rockets and design. keep safe here are some of my ideas of hot to keep safe:

• Keep away from the rocket when launching
• Wear safety gogals and a hiv-ist vest
• Don't lean on it

My favourite part was desighning the rockets and making the rocket.

Something I found challenging was disscusing stuff with my team because they keep mucking around and not listening to my ideas. Next time I would like to work with people I chose.

And I would like to do it again.

Our waka

Paterson class has been learning about wayfinding navigation and writing about wakas. Heres my writing:

 My Waka has some sails made out of flax crossed. The hulls are v-shaped, the hut is a storage and sleeping area. Our waka  is made out of Totara wood because it is lighter than Kauri wood. My job is a teacher. It means that I have to teach some children about different topics and wayfinding navigation . Paterson Class also have jobs on the waka. We did a vote for who is the captain out of me, Agnes, Caesar, Tarlia, Teva and more. Teva won the vote now he is the new captain and we are the crewmembers.

2. how to find stars without instruments? you can use your hands to do it 👐 

3. what is matariki? Matarki is a Maori new year. It is also known as a star cluster.  A cluster is a group of stars.

My favourite satellite is the Moon, thanks to it I can sleep and dream.

 It's my favourite sentence because the end is a little bit funny.
